3Dumb was the first typeface I ever created. I was learning to use the software and drew the 3D letters because it was very quick for me to do. I released it publicly for free through DaFont.com and it does fairly well.
Years later I was contracted by an ad agency to create a new version of 3Dumb with extra font files so a designer could colour the sides and fill separately. I knew this could be done, but had never tried it. Turned out to be pretty easy. It’s great to get paid to learn.
